😈Hunting Comedy vs. Mexican Adventure vs. Austen Fanfic
Village Library Demon-Hunting Society vs. Sun of Blood & Ruin vs. Other Bennet Sister

Greetings everyone from a very cold place where I’m seeking refuge from the world in wonderful escapist books. Here are the first pages, middle pages, and last words of these three very different books from my local library, so please have a read and then vote for your favorite below!
1. “The Village Library Demon-Hunting Society” by C.M. Waggoner
Page one reads:
Then hopping over to the middle, it reads:
And it ends on this note:
2. “Sun of Blood and Ruin” by Mariely Lares
This book opens with:
Then the intrigue builds up to this midpoint excerpt:
Then it ends like this:
3. “The Other Bennet Sister” by Janice Hadlow
This tale opens with:
Then we have this change at the midpoint:
And at last it ends like this:
Personally, I’m very torn because I absolutely LOVE stories about librarians because they are my personal heroes! But then the atmosphere of the Mexican adventure tale and promise of (I think it’s fantasy shifters? 😈🖤) is exciting…but then how can I resist an Austen fanfic? Mary has always deserved more attentions a character.
So it’s up to you to pick for me (& I’ll settle the tie if there is one 😂).
